We're super close to unlocking our 1st stretch goal, the Hama's Grape Soda sticker. In anticipation of that, we've added our second stretch goal at $30K...a Larry Hama trading card for all Deluxe Backers.
Also, for those who follow our Eagle Force Returns line. The Drawn Word is in the last few hours of their Eagle Force Strikes Trading Card Kickstarter campaign..and super close to unlocking their final stretch goal...head on over and check it out.

Congrats! Thanks to our amazing backers we have unlocked the Hama's Grape Soda sticker stretch goal. This means all backers at a Deluxe Reward will now get a Hama's Grape Soda sticker.
Also for Deluxe backers ONLY, you can now Add On additional Deluxe Larry Hama figures to your order.
Add On Deluxe figures are available for $38US/ $41ROW (International). If you already adjusted your pledge, don't worry you can still make additional adjustments anytime before the Kickstarter ends. Again this is ONLY available for Deluxe Rewards backers. You cannot Add On a Deluxe figure to a standard reward.

We are almost at 20K in just over 24 hrs...the response to this project is truly overwhelming. It just goes to show you how many fans of Larry are out there.
You asked for a stretch goal, so we just added our 1st one. A sticker for "Hama's Premium Grape Soda" for all Deluxe backers if we hit 25k.

Wow, the turn out has been amazing! We funded in less than a couple hours. I’m so glad we were given the opportunity to do this.
Thank you Larry for letting us immortalize you in plastic. And, thanks to your amazing fans, we’ll soon have a Larry Hama figure that can stand next to the other figures you helped create.
This journey started for me in the early 80's, with GI JOE #14.
This was the comic that I consider to be my first comic as a collector. Sure I had other comics as a kid, but this issue hooked me. It wasn’t long until I tracked down issues 1-13… and man, that issue #2 was tough... it took me almost 2 years to find it. This was before the days of the internet, so I begged my folks to stop at every comic book store during our family road trips.
But I digress, reading GI Joe got me into comics, plain and simple. It was in this way I discovered a word that would form the foundation for ALL the stories I chose to tell as a storyteller for the rest of my life…CONTINUITY.
At the time I didn’t know what it was, but I knew I loved it. I loved that every issue lead to the next and that each story referenced previous issues. It opened my eyes to what it meant to tell a story and watch characters develop over time. I valued that aspect of storytelling so much, I kept coming back for more, I was hooked. I couldn’t get enough of the adventures that brought my favorite toys to life. From there, I quickly began reading other comics and my collecting habits snowballed, but GI Joe was always my first love.

P.S Folks have been asking about stretch goals, the plan was not to offer any stretches on this campaign in order to keep it simple, but I’ll see what I can do, right now I'm off to drink some grape soda and eat some chocolate donuts.
